Our Origin

From Seed to Cup,
Nothing Compromised

Montalto Coffee Co. was founded on a single conviction: coffee deserves attention. We source direct-trade lots from Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, and Kenya — farms where altitude, soil, and careful processing produce beans with distinct terroir.

Every batch is roasted on our Probat in small quantities, then rested before shipping. The result is coffee that tastes like its origin — bright and floral from Yirgacheffe, rich and chocolatey from Huila, complex and winey from Antigua.

The Craft

Precision in
Every Detail

Direct-Trade Sourcing

We visit farms and pay above market rates for lots that meet our cupping standards. No intermediaries, no compromises.

Small-Batch Roasting

Each roast profile is developed for a single origin or carefully selected blend. We roast in quantities that let us control every variable.

Rest & Extraction

Beans rest 7–14 days post-roast before we release them. We dial in grind, dose, and time for every pour — no shortcuts.

House-Made Bakes

Our pastries are baked before dawn using French technique and locally sourced ingredients. Nothing sits overnight.
